Joe Lockhart was the 21st White House press secretary during the Clinton administration and acted as press secretary and advisor to multiple presidential candidates.  He's had a first-hand view of many of the major political events of the last 25 years. Joining Joe will be John F. Harris, political journalist and the co-founder of Politico. John was a journalist with the Washington Post for 21 years during which time he covered the White House. The conversation will be moderated by Prof. Dan Shea, Chair of the Government Department at Colby College and co-author of The Rural Voter: The Politics of Place and the Disuniting of America and Why Vote? Essential Questions about the Future of Elections in America. This trio will provide us a peek inside the Oval Office as well as their impressions of the American mindset as we head into the presidential election.
